Searching in a sentence
Just write what you are looking for, for example “3.5 rooms in Zug up to CHF 2’500 with a balcony”. immomax reads the place, rooms, price and features from your sentence and shows you what it understood. Anything that cannot be filtered stays visible as “Not filterable” and is never dropped silently.
Searching the classic way
Prefer to go step by step? With “Classic” you choose place, offer, property type, rooms and price one at a time. Both ways lead to the same search, and you can switch at any time.
Several places, radius and commute time
You can combine several places, postcodes, cantons, districts or city districts (Kreise) and add a radius around them. With a commute time, you only see properties from which you can reach your destination by public transport within the time you choose.
Filters
In the filters you can narrow down by floor, features, heating, year of construction and more. The button at the bottom tells you how many properties match before you apply.
Map
The map shows the results of your search. Once you have moved it, “Search this area” continues the search right there. If we only know a property’s postcode, we show its location as an area rather than a point.
Search alerts
Save a search as a search alert and get new results automatically. “Instantly” checks every minute; there are also daily or weekly summaries, with a daily limit and quiet hours. You can unsubscribe with one click from any message, even without signing in.
Saved listings
Tap the heart to save a listing. In your saved listings, you can sort them by how far along you are with each one and hide what doesn’t fit. If the price of a saved property drops, we let you know.
Listings on several portals
If a result says we found it on several portals, we recognised the same property there and merged it. The sources take you to each original. If the details differ, what the original source says always applies.
Reading taxes and the price comparison
The price comparison sets the listing against the median of comparable properties in the same municipality, in CHF per m². The tax figure shows how much tax you would pay per year in that municipality – for a household profile you choose. Both are for guidance only, not quotes.
Contacting the advertiser
For listings from other portals, the contact button takes you to the original source, where your enquiry continues as usual. We just pass you on and don’t read your messages. For listings posted directly on immomax, your message goes to the advertiser.
Posting your own listing
Create an account, confirm your mobile number by text message, enter your listing with photos: after a short check it goes online and reaches everyone whose search alert matches. It is free for private individuals; the number of listings active at the same time is limited.
For agencies and property managers
Agencies whose listings we show have a profile in the agency directory, which they can claim for free. You then manage the details and logo yourself and see enquiries in your dashboard. Extra visibility can be booked and is labelled.
Account and security
You can sign in with a password, with Google or with Apple. For more security, add a second factor (TOTP) or a passkey in your account settings – then you no longer need a password. That’s also where you change your language, notifications and the address used for commute times.
Something wrong?
Wrong price, property already taken, suspicious listing: “Report listing” on the listing page sends the report to us. We check every report and correct or remove the entries concerned.
