Flat mate wanted for WG, Rooms in 6.5 apartment w/Pool and Game Room 137m2 + hobby room + winter garden (over 160m2 total for 4 people!) + backyard Renting out a furnished room in my spacious 6.5 apartment in 8152 Glattbrugg/Opfikon. We are looking for a native English, student preferred. If you're not a native English speaker or a student you're still welcomed to apply. **Only non-smokers will be considered**. The bedroom already has 3m of wardrobes, single bed, desk, large armchair, bookcase, 55" smart TV and internet radio stereo. It has a door out to the conservatory, patio and swimming pool Additional items can be requested, ie, pictures or lamps. Approx. 12m private plus 70m shared area, the apartment is about 160m including the winter garden (conservatory) with a swimming pool as well as a game room for billiards and private partys. There's bike storage in the basement, as well as our private washer and dryer downstairs, which is available 24x7. Cats would be welcome (but there aren't any cat doors are installed), but no dogs please. Rent is 1150 CHF, including utilities (Internet, Netflix, power, water). We are not vegetarians, but avoid eating meat. We keep the shared areas tidy, especially the kitchen. Underground car parking is an additional 100. Sfr if desired. Guest parking is also available. I'm an American male, retired from skyguide, UBS and Swisscom, easy going, love to travel (I've been away 20 month currently), entertain and a have a party now and then. I often have music playing in the apartment and often watch movies in the home theater. One flat mate is a German/English and the other Greek. Several neighbors also speak fluent English. You can reach the Zurich HB in 30 mins a number of ways. 200 meters from the 781 Glattbrugg, Oberhusen bus stop (only 4 mins walk) 700 meters from the Lindberghplatz tram station (10 min walk) 800 meters from the Opfikon train station (train takes 11 minutes to HB) All the above will take under 30 mins to the Zurich HB. 600-1200 meters from COOP, Migros, Drug store and other shops 1000 meters from Glattbrugg train station, with Migrolino open on Sundays Glattpark is a 10 min walk where there's a large public space with a HUGE picnic meadow with a small forest with BBQ grills and small lake.
