The oldest part dates back to the first house on the Wehrgraben. It stands in a line with several houses that formed the outer fortification ring of the village to the south. The original building structure of the "Gotischen Haus" has been largely preserved. With its round-arched entrance and beautiful, three-part stepped windows, it is a well-preserved witness to the Gothic style period. The walls, floors, and ceilings are mostly in their original condition, which means, among other things, that the room heights are very low. Some beams could be dated back to 1568/69. The house still has some old built-in closets and doors. No elevator!
