Our little flat in Fluntern — looking for someone to call it home for July & August

Hi! We're heading abroad for July and August and rather than leave our flat sitting empty, we'd love to hand it over to someone who'll genuinely look after it. It's our home, we've put real care into it, so we're looking less for "a tenant" and more for someone who'll treat the place the way we do. It's a bright, recently refreshed 2.5-room apartment in Fluntern (Kreis 7), on the quiet, green side of the Zürichberg — trees out every window, but only 15 minutes by tram 5 or 6 to the Hauptbahnhof. Zoo, Dolder forest trails, Coop, Migros, bakery and cafés all within a few minutes on foot. Inside, we tried to make it feel like a real home, not a generic sublet. Big corner sofa that folds out, round dining table for four, proper bedroom with a queen bed and real wardrobe space. We cook a lot, so the kitchen is the part we're most proud of — double oven, induction hob, dishwasher, Cuisinart air fryer, a good espresso machine, kettle, toaster. There's also a small desk with a monitor by the window, and fast fibre internet. Walk-in shower, separate WC. Fresh linens and towels waiting for you. **CHF 2833 per month, all-inclusive** — rent, electricity (assuming normal consumption),internet, Serafe, everything. Deposit one month, refunded after a walk-through together. Dates are **1 July to 31 August 2026**, and we're happy to stretch it by an extra week or two at the start or end if that works better for you — just let us know. What we're hoping to find: someone calm, considerate, and tidy. Visiting researchers, summer interns, expats waiting on an autumn lease, couples wanting a proper base in Switzerland, all welcome!! No pets, smokers, or parties, please. Happy to arrange a viewing or live video walkthrough. We'll handle the landlord paperwork once we've found the right person.
