The location is quiet, and yet you have the S-Bahn stop right across the street, with a train running every 15 minutes to Aarau and Menziken. The highway entrance can also be reached quickly via Schöftland. In the village, there is a Coop, a Migros VOI, a Denner, a pharmacy, a kiosk, a post office, a bakery, and several doner shops/restaurants.
