The idyllic Walser village of Wiesen is located on a sunny terrace (1450 m above sea level) between the well-known holiday metropolises of Davos and Lenzerheide with their rich cultural and sporting offerings. Wiesen belongs to the political landscape of Davos and is the starting point for numerous hikes. The Wiesner Viaduct as a World Heritage Site and the Zügenschlucht with Känzeli and Bärentritt are absolute highlights. Halfway between Wiesen and Davos is the popular ski, bike, and hiking area of Rienerhorn. And a little further on, at Gadestatt, is the entrance to the extensive cross-country skiing network of the Davos landscape. The Anemone house is located a little outside the village center and can be easily reached by post bus. The post bus runs at hourly intervals to both Davos and Lenzerheide.
