Since my roommate is moving out, a room in our beautiful 3-room apartment will be available from October 1st (or September 23rd). The apartment has approximately 90 m² and is centrally located, yet quiet: 3 minutes' walk to Hardplatz, 5 minutes to Bollingerplatz, and 8 minutes to Hardbrücke train station. As the apartment is situated between the inner courtyard and the garden, you will hardly notice the city noise. Highlight: We have our own terrace and garden. Additionally, there is a large living room with parquet flooring, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, as well as a washing machine and dryer in the basement. The room is quiet and faces the inner courtyard, with parquet flooring as well. It can be partially furnished with a bed, desk, shelf, and clothes rack, or taken over empty. Rent: CHF 1,260 including utilities. The current lease runs until February 2027, but there is a good chance that we can stay or the apartment will be de-restricted. I am Marianne, working at ETH and the interface of research and industry on sustainability and circular economy. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors and active: road biking, hiking, beach volleyball, cross-country skiing, and generally everything in nature. I also like to read, cook, and have game nights, dance, enjoy culture, and am interested in politics and society. On the terrace, I try my hand at gardening with varying success. :) A home where one feels comfortable and likes to come back to is important to me. I prefer it tidy and rather quiet. I think it's nice to chat in the kitchen, cook together, have a glass of wine, or spontaneously do something, invite friends over for dinner, sit on the terrace, or grill. However, everyone should also have their own life and retreat. I am looking for someone between 30 and 43, employed, and tidy, with whom I get along well and share a similar idea of cohabitation.
